Thank you for your interest in Community Montessori School (“CMS”). We are located in Oakbrook Church, 1700 Reston Parkway, Reston, VA. We have no affiliation with any church. The building sits on five beautiful acres across from Home Depot and Reston Town Center. We are pleased to offer a year-round Montessori program, bringing excitement and quality to your child’s education. Community Montessori School offers primary, toddler, and infant classrooms. Our Montessori “Young Children’s Community” cherishes each child for his or her uniqueness and provides personalized, loving care that extends to encourage the child’s capacity to learn and grow! In our prepared classrooms, we accept children 3 months to 6 years old.

for inclement weather and some teacher workdays.

Community Montessori School is a private educational school based upon and dedicated to the Montessori method. After assessing the developmental needs of each child, freedom and structure are enhanced through learning experiences. Community Montessori School’s approach to education develops the potential of young children through a carefully prepared environment, specially trained teachers, and the use of Maria Montessori’s didactic materials.
A typical day in a montessori classroom involves practical life, sensorial activities, language arts, mathematics, music and art appreciation, and social studies/geography activities.
Community Montessori School has Infant, Toddler, Primary, Kindergarten and for your convenience a Before and After care program.
